BUTTERMILK BREAKFAST BISCUIT MIX - Kraft Tin Tie Bag. INGREDIENTS: Wheat Flour Enriched (niacin, reduced iron, thiamine, mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), Malted Barley Flour, Baking Powder, and Kosher Salt. 

How to Prepare(what you'll need)

  • 1 tbsp honey,    
  • 3/4 cup milk,
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice,  
  • 2 tbsp salted butter, melted

Step-by-step

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment.  
  3. Put the flour blend in a medium bowl and stir with a fork to blend.
  4. Add the lemon juice to the milk.
  5. When it begins to separate, stir it into the flour, along with the honey, until the dough comes together.
  6. Blend in the butter using a pastry cutter or forks, do not over mix.  
  7. Clumps in the batter will add pockets of flavor to the biscuits.  

Drop by spoonfuls onto the cookie sheet.  Cook 20 to 25 minutes, or until the biscuits begin to brown.  This mix makes ½ dozen biscuits.
